A team from Delft University of Technology, led by Koen Smits, took part in the Tour de France à la Voile. This is one of the largest sailing events in the world. It is also extremely popular and is broadcast live in France. During this four-week competition, student teams, mostly from cities in France, battle against one another.
The ASO, which is also the organiser of the Tour de France, still organises this competition to this day. The contests are in-shore (around a city) and off-shore (from city to city)

Organise and facilitate
A team of students from Delft University of Technology took part in the rally in the Mumm30 – a standard sailing boat – with a seven-person crew. For a few years, we were responsible for transporting the boat and for the hospitality and accommodation trailer.
